Weigh In 13/08/07
Lost 1lb this week, slow but steady and moving in the right direction again. Clothes are still feeling a bit tight and I still feel a bit uncomfortable as a result.
I have found myself eating a lot of oat bars recently, they seem to provide a good alternative to snacking and man there are some choices out there so I don’t feel bored with what I am eating. Take care though as just because they say it is a healthy snack there are a lot of companies jumping on the band wagon and producing oat bars that are just as unhealthy as a bar of chocolate. I have found the Jordan’s range to be very healthy also they do have a big choice. The Eat Natural bars are also a good choice but they are a little bit on the pricey side.
Tell of the tape this week is :- 22st 5lbs (313 lbs, 141.9 kg)

**high five** congrats on the lost lb.!
You definitely have to read label – those names and ads for products can so off sometimes.
My favorite protein bars are Extend bars (best taste, best price) and they are specially made by a doctor to control blood sugars up to 9 hours (which means your appetite is under control and your body is in a better state to drop fat). They helped my friend who is a diabetic (she doesn’t need medicine). But they are good for everyone – because most folks who have to lose a lot of weight have insulin resistance and blood sugar issues. I get 3 to 4 boxes every month from online. They deliver very quickly.

Lady Rose the Extendbar sounds great unfortunately I do not think you can get them in the UK, do you know of a website that will ship to the UK?
